A day of celebration and shared values was held today at the “Giacomo Perlasca” Institute in Vobarno, where Raffmetal, a company belonging to the Silmar Group, donated 200 lab coats to all students in the final three years of the Mechatronics and Energy programs.
The initiative is part of the “We Love Schools” project, through which Raffmetal and the companies of the Silmar Group have been supporting local schools for years, promoting technical education and safety in laboratories.
The handover ceremony, attended by the school management, teachers, and company representatives, marked another chapter in a partnership that has lasted for over ten years, involving hundreds of students in work-based learning, training courses, company visits, and awareness activities focused on sustainability and social responsibility.
“We strongly believe in the value of education and in the contribution we can offer to the new generations,” said Michele Bortolami, HSE Director and CEO of Raffmetal. “Industry needs motivated and skilled young people, capable of facing future challenges with competence. The dialogue between schools and companies is essential to build a stronger and more sustainable future for our territory.”
With this donation, Raffmetal and the Silmar Group reaffirm their commitment to supporting youth education and fostering shared growth among schools, industry, and the community.
